General Manager’s Happy Hour

We pride ourselves on being an inclusive community here at Juliana Village. Our residents from both our independent and residential aged care areas come together very frequently for a variety of activities.
On Thursday, 30th May the residents and some relatives all gathered for the “General Managers Happy Hour .” During this highly attended event, we celebrated and made special mention to all six of our Centenarians, who have resided with us for many years. This was also celebrated with an article in our local community newspaper, The Leader this week.

Kelvin Neave, General Manager of Juliana Village comments “that in his more than 20 years of working in the Healthcare sector in both Hospital and Aged Care settings (the last 12 years specifically in Aged Care), he has never known of this number of Centenarians to be located in one Aged Care setting at any one time. He further added, that being responsible for the day to day lives of all within our care is only achievable with an amazing, dedicated and caring team across all areas of the village. We are indeed blessed here at Juliana Village to have such people working with us and these particular attributes are sought when we seek to employ staff across our site. I believe that we all need to be approachable and visible each day and that the incredible team that surrounds me here at Juliana Village are indeed the spokes in the wheel that forms the success of all that we do each day for our residents.”
